Readings:

Using only the readings (Blodget, Dynarski, and Miller) discuss one example of labor’s legal rights that can be an important check on profit maximization impulses of corporations and why the importance of labor unions have grown in the recent years. As a minor supplement, you can use the information in the inside lecture video, “Job Transfers.”
