The company has started a new mentoring program. Sara, you have been paired with Thanush, a new recruiter who has been with the company for only 6 months.
Thanush, you are struggling with your Recruitment Manager, Kavish, who you report into. Kavish is never available and you feel like you don’t have any guidance. In addition, you are considering a career change. But you need this job. The pay is great and you still have student debt you’re repaying.
Sara, you have challenges with some teams because of their lack of understanding over what your team does. HR never sends qualified candidates. Is the HR group not understanding the company? How much information can you get from a mentoring session (or should you get)?
