For your second audit, you will write concise 3 pages, well researched, well-written memo to me that the governmental / legal / regulatory issues in the industrial sector of your choice. Your goal, in short, is to know your industry better than anybody competing with you for the positions you are applying for after you graduate.
You will submit a rough draft of your scan + any questions and concerns you might have to the class forum. Your classmates and I will then comment on your work and provide useful feedback.
Composition Guidelines: In a properly organized memo to me (see p. 61 in Plain Language Style Guide and handout below for correct format), using proper sentence structure (that is, not point form):
