Assignment 1’s Peer Review
Here are the peer review action steps:
- Read these peer review guidelines
- By Wednesday, 10/6, you and your partner should have communicated and set up a process and time line for exchanging documents (position positing, revised resume, and tailored cover letter) to complete the peer review. The list of assigned partners appears below.
- You should initiate contact ASAP by sending an email via Blackboard/Course Tools/Send email/Single User and select your partner’s name; do not wait for your partner to contact you.
- Attempt contact twice and, if you haven’t heard back from your partner by Wednesday, 10/6 night, please let me know so I can try to find you another partner.
- Exchange the position description, your revised resume AND draft cover letter (both tailored for the position you submitted for Assignment 1) with your partner for their review/feedback.
- Assess your partner’s documents by comparing it to the position posting and using this this two-sided peer review form: Resume and Cover Letter Critique Form(1).doc Resume and Cover Letter Critique Form(1).doc – Alternative Formats
- Provide feedback by returning the completed form to your partner AND giving additional written and/or oral comments.
