Based on the e-Activity and the business with labor relations issues you selected, propose how public relations might have helped or harmed relation between the employees and the ownership.
I chose McDonald’s labor woes that they are experiencing. Although, McDonald’s and Wal-Mart are going through pretty much the same increase in salary woes for their employees McDonald’s is not taking away business from the local stores. Helping change McDonald’s labor relations would be to show how it is a good start up job for young people and a way for anyone in a management position to start small and increase their managerial skills. Public relations could have helped if they did an expose of how the employees are being respected by their management. Ensure their was honest feedback on both sides of the spectrum and McDonald’s willing to hear the employees voice starting form the bottom all the way to the top.

You must already have your employees trust. Ensure your employees that there minimum change. Also, it would be good to gradually make changes not all at once. People like to be heard so ensuring feedback and their voice will be considered. You must always constantly encourage those that maybe struggling with the principles that things will get better. Ask all employees to respect eachothers feelings during this process.
