Worksheet: PART A

Problem 1: In column L, use the IF function to recode education using this classification:

  • High school diploma = 1

3. Create a pivot table that shows a comparison between education level and the average spending amount between males and females.

4. Based on the results of the pivot tables, explain the role of education in this research project.
