The goal of this essay is for you to examine a hero in the light of different theoretical approaches. Please choose Paladin, Luke Skywalker star wars, Binti by Nnedi Okorafor., T’Challa black panther, Kara, or Miles, and then write 3-4 pages (double-spaced, about 800-1000 words). The main question is: how do you characterize the hero’s ethical stance and what difference does it make? Please take these points into consideration: the different ethical systems we’ve read about, the conditions or limits on the hero, how they make the decision, who else is affected, and how the hero evaluates (or not) their own decision at the end. Which ethical approach does the hero use (even if incompletely or imperfectly).
Your essay needs to have an introduction with your thesis, body paragraphs explaining the connections and using quotes and/or very specific details to support each point, and a conclusion.
You should mention the titles of sources where you use them in the essay (and authors, if they have named authors), and then list them all in a Works Cited list following your conclusion.
