THE TASK:Beyond Meat CEO Ethan Brown has employed you as a consultant to assess the company’s overall situation and recommend a set of actions to improve the company’s prospects. Please prepare a report to Mr. Brown that includes an evaluation of Beyond Meat and its industry. Also suggest a set of action recommendations that Beyond Meat should pursue to capitalize on its opportunities and compete successfully against its rivals. It is imperative that the support offered for each of your recommendation be based on conclusions drawn from application of the concepts and analytical tools that may be suitable for Beyond Meat in competing successfully against its rivals in the years just ahead.
Instructions:
- Part 1 should include a summary of your plan (not of the case).Write this summary so that your plan, the reasoning for it, and the basics of your implementation plan could be understood if this was the only thing your audience read.
- In Part 2, your primary task is to provide a response to the Case titled “Beyond Meat, Inc.”. This response should include an identification of the problem, quantitative and qualitative analysis, consideration of alternatives, a decision, and a plan of action. (Not including quantitative analysis will severely lower your grade).
- Formatting: Times New Roman (or equivalent), 12pt, 1-inch margins, double spaced.
- Each page should report your full name and ID (use the Insert – Header tab or equivalent).
- Part 1 – Executive Summary, maximum of 2 pages
- Part 2 – Case Analysis, maximum of 6 pages
- Part 3 – Exhibits, maximum of 6 pages
