Now that you have learned about all the facets that go into technical communication, where have you seen instances of effective (or perhaps ineffective) technical communication this semester? You do not have to search hard and wide. Perhaps you have witnessed something at your job or viewed something on the news, or perhaps you read a book or even dealt with some communication that came to you in the mail. Again, how have you seen instances of effective or ineffective technical communication in action? As always, connect your response to something specific you’ve learned from the chapters in the textbook, any of the assigned readings, or digital media provided this semester. Be sure you clearly explain the situation and identify the elements, based on what you have learned, that made the communication effective or ineffective
Depth, detail, clarity of expression, correctness, honesty (review Measures of Excellence) will again factor into your evaluation
