Blogging has grown tremendously as a method of providing information over the Internet. While it is a “reader beware” type of communicating method, businesses are taking advantage of this new way of communicating with their costumers.

Remember that blogging is time consuming, and like anything else in business, it requires a plan and a strategy. There are seven tasks one should conduct when creating a blog: (1) Set objectives, (2) set rules, (3) get started, (4) advertise and promote, (5) be real, (6) maintain a high reputation, and (7) Maintain the blog fresh.

With these in mind, complete the following tasks:

1. Identify a business blog website and review several of the posts and responses in that blog (be sure to include the blog URL).
2. Determine opportunities and challenges blogging poses to this particular business.
3. Create a list of recommendations that you would suggest based on the blogging activities of the business.
