I’m working on a computer science question and need guidance to help me learn.
Onward Mobility announced in 2020 that it will release a new version, a 5G BlackBerry in 2021. This phone will incoporate state-of-the-art technology, a high-grade camera, and include an on-screen physical keyboard. This new BlackBerry phone is rumored to run on the Android OS. Not much more is known about the phone design to date. But, this is enough to make BlackBerry enthusiast excited about the possiblity that BlackBerry can once again hold a viable position in the mobile marketplace.
Q) Why introduce a new BlackBerry to an already saturated market?
Q) Does the proposed new BlackBerry have strengths which will enable wide adoption and be viable against current market leaders Apple iOS and Android)?
Q) Is there a market niche that BlackBerry can fill that no other big-name cellphone company has not already filled (enterprise and government professional – maybe)?
Q) Is a physical keyboard feature a plus for a new BlackBery entry?
Q) Is the BlackBerry name (the brand) damaged and reflective of failed mobile app technology.
