Discuss the following: “Every morning you get up and go to work, some days good, some days bad. The kids are hungry and the bills are due. Reading the chapters in the bible this week Psalms and Isaiah it amazes me how the ‘people “were so disobedient to the lord even after many warnings. It shows also if we live by his path and do not sway, our lives will be the “greener path “. These men that delivered his messages had to be brave and of great faith. We do not see Jesus but he was here and he did walk this earth and you have to know him in your heart not just believe in him. I believe the gospels focus on his teachings and healing also about his death and resurrection. They show what God has done in Jesus to save this world. They teach us that Jesus hurt just like us and struggled from hunger as many do today. He also shows that even though we are tempted we can remain faithful to God.
If Jesus was to stand in front of me I’m not sure I could think or say anything at first, I would more than likely hit my knees in tears of glory. I have great faith and it can be a struggle sometimes in the day to day to stay focused and on the right path. I have been though many personal tribulations that have knocked me around in life and Satan has tried to tempt my faith and keep me down , but I know who my savior and father is and I trust in him to help me overcome anything .
I am blessed to have grown up in the church where I was taught at an early age about Christ. If I had a chance to walk with Jesus even though I’m sure it was a very challenging time then, I would hope that I was worthy enough to share in his ministry as the prophets did. There are many evil things in this world that will try and attack you for being a Christian. If we walk in Christ and be faithful and show what “Christ like “truly means we have a glorious home for eternity waiting on us. I believe many of us Christians and even non-believers have seen in some form Gods miracles and have witnessed his everlasting love and I know without a doubt that when that day does come where he does walk up to us, his glory will be so magnificent it cannot be typed on a paper or in words . As the song says “I can only imagine “.
