INTRODUCTION
In this activity, you will reflect on your knowledge of portfolios and reflections. The reflection you write should use techniques discussed in the videos. Following the activity instructions will help you to do that.
Because ePortfolios are tools that give your audience a glimpse of your growth as a life-long learner, they will naturally be public documents. Please do not include anything in them that you do not want to share with a public audience.
ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare: Before watching the videos, think about the following questions: What is a portfolio, and what does reflection mean to you? How would you define a portfolio? How might you use it in your career? What has been your impression of writing reflective essays in the past?
- Watch: Watch videos about ePortfolios and Reflection.
- Write: For your reflection, use your previous thoughts about portfolios and reflection and discuss how they have changed as a result of the videos. If they have not changed, why do you think they have remained the same?
