In this case, students will examine the writing of the U.S. Constitution and consider it in light of the values and reasons for the revolt against Great Britain.
For this assignment:

- Students will create two lists
- List 1: The Constitution Did Betray the Revolution
- List 2: The Constitution Did Not Betray the Revolution
- Each list will contain specific information/evidence from the readings categorized under the correct position (summarizing the main points).
- After categorizing the evidence for both sides, students will then write one good, academic paragraph answering the question: Did the Constitution betray the Revolution?
