These sites have the comprehensive data needed for your HA499 projects. The criteria included the Home page with ‘About Us’ containing demographic and statistical information about locations, services, community outreach, etc. The site would have a readily accessible Strategic Plan (some required a keyword search) and Annual Report (some required some investigation, which is why I copied the direct link). These sites were well designed, had pertinent information available in an organized manner. Most sites required some searching, but had the Strategic Plan, Mission Statement (Vision), and Annual Report readily available.

Capstone Project
The purpose of the Capstone Project is for you to show your understanding of the course materials and your ability to communicate at the college level. For your capstone project, you will be performing research on a real-life healthcare organization. Drawing upon your learning in previous courses, you will be asked to analyze various facets and provide a detailed picture of the organization.
As you compile the information, consider what value each process adds to the company and how quality improvements might improve outcomes.
Compose your report using Standard American English as described in the APA guidelines. You need to follow formal APA formatting for the project to include title page and reference page. Make sure you cite your reference in the text and on the reference page using proper APA format.
You will find a Project Rubric used to grade the project in the syllabus. There are five sections to the project.

2. Go to the selected hospitals web site (listed above) and research the information needed. These will include the Mission Statement, Strategic Plan, and Annual Report. Demographics will be in the Home Page, Locations, etc. Other valuable information is to be found in Community Outreach areas, Certification and Accreditations, and Corporate Compliance areas. You should use outside materials (news articles, videos, etc) to supplement information from the hospital web site.

4. Requirements
