The students will get familiar with cyber security risk assessment frameworks and methods,the CyberScient platform, and specific customer engagements.

Proposed Project Objectives, Goals and areas of involvement (subject to confirmation)
- Review the current areas/questions in the online assessment
- Review the policies, templates and checklists – investigate improvements
- Review SME threats, gaps and appetite for improvements
- Review our spear-phishing process and improve the process
- Assess the effectiveness of the platform on sample customers
- Support CyberScient initiatives, e.g. CyberScient Kids national
- Propose improvements to fit SME, health care and beyond
- Strict NDA and vetting required
- Availability to travel to and work from Long Bay, Auckland
- Some of the projects may deal with advanced topics that require reasonable skills in Linux CLI, programming, e.g. Python, networking
- Students ability to learn quickly and independently is a must
- Some of the results may not be publicly disclosed
- All IP developed withing the project remains the exclusive property of Medical IT Advisors
