- Complete the activity per the instructions.
- Submit your completed Module 2 DOME Worksheet by the end of the module, which will be scored based on the degree of completion (see rubric).
- Go to Module 2 – DOME: Synthesizer Solo Submission (next in the module) to submit your work for the Synthesizer Solo part of the activity.
- Selecting the play arrow on the simulation icon will run the simulation within your web browser using CheerpJ. This option will work on most devices.
- If your device supports Java, you can optionally run the Java version of the simulation by selecting JAVA VERSION. (This option will require an updated version of Java software (Links to an external site.) (free) on your computer. If you do not or are not sure if you have Java, go to the Java website.) (Links to an external site.) A .jar file will download to your device (you may get a message “this file may harm your computer” – don’t fear, it will not!). You may then be prompted by your browser to take an additional step or two to launch the application and run the simulation, depending on your browser or device.
- The simulation is optimized for use on computers (Macs or PCs) and MAY NOT run on some other devices. If you have trouble getting the simulation to run:
