Astronomy Research Paper 7-8 pages How do black holes form

I will post the rubric later. Please make sure follow every step.

The research paper should be seven double-spaced pages in 12-point font (exclusive of figures or references, or a cover page), with one-inch margins.

After choosing your topic, gather materials and information, synthesize the material and formulate what you would like to say. Don’t just be a stenographer, parroting the material you find, but develop and express your own ideas and opinions. As you read the researched material carefully, your own observations and questions will arise. When drafting your paper, follow the format of first introducing your subject, including a brief statement of what you are going to tell the reader. Then present the material that is relevant for your discussion and make your main points, supported by sources with citations. Discuss why your topic and/or discussion is interesting or important, and finish with some concluding remarks. Be careful to avoid embarrassment through the cavalier use of auto correction and spell checker tools. Use your best grammar.

I will apply the usual standards in evaluating your papers. Use the rubric provided in the research paper assignment. It will tell you what I am looking for in your paper and how your paper will be graded. Note that although the web is a vast source of information at your disposal, the web is not a source for thoughts or words without explicit citations. Do you understand the distinction? Your appreciation of this distinction is implicit in the University’s ethical code on plagiarism. You should know, for example, that you must not copy the words of others into your paper without citing your source(s) and enclosing these words in quotation marks or as a separate, indented paragraph clearly identified as an excerpt from another text. You should also know that your sources of information must be cited in the text with a complete list of references (bibliography) at the end.
