The initial site safety plan should be basic and can be built upon. Communication is key for any safety program so in order to make sure that everyone understands the program, bilingual people should be found or interpreters to ensure that everyone is on the same page. The safety program has to be clear and available for everyone on the project regardless of their spoken language. To keep issues caused by multipe contractors working on a single job to a minimum, an order of the building process should be defined from the beginning. For example, if the building is a multiple story building, individual contractors could be placed on different floors allowing plumbers to work with water and drains while electritions could work on another floor. While not the work can be seperated, keeping different occupations seperate should be done as much as possible. Different occupations usually have multiple jobs going at the same time and therefore should be able to time things on sites so that contractors on not working on top of each other.
