You will write (6 pages) and then record an 8-10 minute video speech of an informative exploration of a country (Kenya) of your choosing (excluding the United States of America). Presentations should follow a standard format and include all elements of an introduction, body, and conclusion.
Your research and presentation should focus on the deep structural elements of culture in your chosen country as described by the text (family, religion, state). Your research will require the collection of appropriate sources that will help inform your presentation. In addition to the text, a minimum of four (4) sources should be orally cited in the body of your speech.
The written version is an important component of your oral presentation. It should follow MLA formatting guidelines and should contain an Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. It must also contain a separate works cited page. It must be prepared in a Microsoft Word document, include your shared link to your video, and be submitted to the corresponding Dropbox folder by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday of Week 5. This assignment is worth 200 points.
