(Article Analysis) Consumer behavior

Please read through the instruction to understand the requirements:

Online Article Summary and Analysis: Each student individually will write-up a short summary of a current article relating to marketing and specifically consumer behavior. Make sure you choose an article with enough substance so that you are able to adequately answer the questions below.  You may choose your own article from any prestigious online business publication including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Brandweek, Fortune magazine, Business 2.0, etc. Make sure the article you choose provides enough material to fully prepare a thorough Article Summary and Analysis.  Please follow the recommended format as outlined below for your Online Article Summary.  Be sure to attach a copy and or link of the article to your summary.  

Article Summary and Analysis Format: Typed, double spaced format, #12 Times New Roman font, margins: 1” top and left, ¾” bottom and right.

Section 1: (1/2 page)

Synopsis. Briefly describe the article. 

Section 2 (1-2 pages)Identify and describe the three key points from the article.  What are the key things the author wants us to know?

Section 3 (1-2 pages)

Identify two critical thinking questions that you identified during your review of the article which could be used as discussion points for class. How is this article relevant to what we have been talking about in class?  Consider how you would lead the class in a discussion of this article.

Section 4 (1-2 pages)

Provide your opinion/critique of the article. Does this article make you think of any interesting marketing relevant ideas or solutions to marketing problems?  What else do you wish that the author had covered?

Indicate the source of the article and provide link to article
