After reading the chapter on painting, what is your favorite medium in painting? Include an image of a painting in that medium in your journal entry, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using that medium.

For this assignment, you will select a painting from an online gallery to discuss with your peers. Select an approach described at length in the unit lesson such as technical, historical, and observational, or come up with your own approach. Record your discussion of the artwork, and end your discussion with a question. This may be either an audio recording or a video recording. For this assignment, you will use the Blog feature of Blackboard in order to upload your recording (or a link to your recording if you want to upload a video to YouTube) and a copy of the image to the Blog. To do so, click on Create Blog Entry to create your post. Enter a title, and then you can type in the text box or upload a file, then click Post Entry. Remember to write in complete sentences, and use proper grammar in your responses to your classmates’ discussions.
