For your presentation you are asked to record a 5-10 minute video segment of yourself describing the issues facing minority youth and then identifying one youth program that is impacting youth positively. Focus on the following points in your presentation;
- Explain issues facing youth today in the criminal justice system.
- Identify one youth program that is making a difference. Explain the program’s mission, who they serve, the funding source, the positive and/or negative outcomes, etc.
- Explain how you found your information, the conclusions you have made based on your research, and any reform recommendations that you may have.
Please rely on course material and videos to expand on your ideas. More specifically, please find two peer reviewed journal articles, to support your suggested reform measures. Include one to two quotes from your articles that could apply to your findings and suggested changes.
