Your semester project will consist of eight parts, each of which is completed weekly. In this project you are asked to apply the contents of this course to an organization of your own choosing. Each week’s project part will directly reflect the course content and your learning in the weekly discussion. While the weekly discussion will use a case study for application, the weekly project will focus on your own organization, or one that you have known well.
For this part of your organizational assessment you are asked to:
- Assess the degree to which your organization has strengths in each of the four dimensions of the Innovation to the Core model and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assess the degree to which your organization has strengths in the four elements of the Four Lenses of Innovation and identify opportunities or improvement
- Based on Eric Reis’s work on Corporate Entrepreneurism (The Startup Way) are there any characteristics that you see in your own organization?
4. Identify a Blue Ocean strategy for your organization or industry.
