In order to respond to this question, you must describe and evaluate the work of a subset of
scientists we have considered from Franz Josef Gall to Brenda Milner, using the conceptual tools
that I presented in Lecture 4 to inform both your descriptive and critical analyses. My suggestion
is that you pick 2 scientists representing different positions in the functional localization debate
who were contemporaries (or close enough) (e.g., Gall&Flourens; Broca&Wernicke;
Milner&Lashley):

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are only to use the primary readings we have done for the course,
the Fancher and Rutherford Pioneers of Psychology reading that is posted on Owl and the
conceptual tools that I presented in the 4th lecture for the course. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER
SOURCES than those considered in the course.
