Find a Photographer that was or is FAMOUS (made a few books – is referenced/ historical). I am attaching my list of famous photographers and my favorite books in this module along with my Pinterest address. Please look carefully and find photographers that spark your interest as they will feed into your next assignment.
PLEASE – NO INSTAGRAM Photographers! – must come from historical reference!!
Please include the following in your essay:
- Name of Photographer
- Date of Birth and if they are still living / Date of Death
- Genre: (street photography, fine art/studio, portraits)
- Camera Used – Film or Digital? (Example: Henri Cartier-Bresson used a Leica- Why is this Significant?
- What are the images that made this person famous? What were the subject of his/her main works?
- Please include a sample photo of their work and the one that made you want to write about them.
- Tell us your opinion of the work and why you enjoy this persons work.
