- Review the articles “Government Funding and the Nonprofit Sector: Exploring a New Census Bureau Data Source—The Federal Audit Clearinghouse” and “The Effect of Government Funding on Nonprofit Administrative Efficiency: An Empirical Test.” Consider the ways in which government funding is similar to and different from individual, foundational, and corporate funding.
- Review the online article “Overview of Nonprofit Fundraising Sources and Approaches.” Focus on strengths, limitations, and challenges related to individual, foundational, corporate, and government funding.
- Consider how individual, foundational, corporate, and government funding sources are similar to and different from each other. Also, reflect on strengths, limitations, and challenges of each.
