I am needing a sample email to send to my Course Lead for a Grade Appeal. It is the right of the student to appeal the decision if they feel they have a mitigating circumstance that they would like the Course Lead to consider. The email will need to be in a formal letter format addressed to the professor as an appeal and what they would like to happen as a result.

Some things to consider adding in the email that I am going through is:
– My grandmother in California passed away and I was unable to attend due to COVID
– Stress with finances, my hours were reduced at work
– I’ve been stressed with my complicated living situation
