Apology Letter

What the teacher sent me as a catch up/background to the story of what happened and what the apology letter focuses on:

You shared that you were going through a rough and difficult break-up from your girl friend this summer and let it affect the way you reacted to your instructor in the class. You stated that you were generally in a bad mood and acted out towards your parents as well. You also shared that you suffer from insomnia and the lack of sleep did not help in this situation either. I brought up a particular incident in which you asked a fellow class mate to sign-in your attendance when you were not present in class that day. We discussed that your asking another class mate to do this was ethically wrong and went against Oakton’s Student Code; we also talked about safety implications – in the event the building needed to be evacuated and your whereabouts could not be accounted for by the authorities.

GUIDELINES AS TO THE FORMAT OF THE PAPER/ HOW THE PAPER SHOULD BE DONE:

You are to submit a one-page single-spaced reflection paper, no bigger than Times New Roman 12-point font. In your own words, explain your behavior and the poor decisions and consequences that led to a faculty filing a complaint with the Office of Student Affairs. Also include reflection on how you can be better in the future and what tools/skills/resources will you utilize should you find yourself at a difficult cross road in life as you try and balance your academic and personal life.
