1. Theoretical Knowledge: Identify and explain three major concepts or ideas that you have
learned in AOD 3318 that you will carry with you beyond your undergraduate education.
2. Practical Knowledge: Select three specific strategies or practices that we learned and explain where and how you can apply and implement each one.
Examination Rules to Adhere to
v Use an analytical approach to frame your explanations. If you are uncertain about what “analytic” or “analysis” means, refer to Bloom’s Taxonomy.
v Carefully proofread your paper. Write multiple drafts.
v Total length of written exam: about 750 words. Each answer should be thorough
enough to effectively convey complex information in a coherent narrative form.
v Develop each major concept or idea in relation to knowledge you possess. For example, you might connect nonlinear systems thinking to something you learned in another course, to an experience that you have had, or to something that you have observed about the world.
v Use complete, grammatically correct sentences (grammatically considerate at minimum). If you do not you will be penalized.
v Use evidence to support your claims or examples. For example, you should draw on the relevant assigned readings. However, you must appropriately reference any source you use.

v Use convincing and specific examples.
v Use systems thinking terms and language.
v Format your paper with 1 inch margins, Times New Roman, size 12 font, page numbers, and a separate works cited page.
v Have someone proofread your work for clarity, mistakes, etc. Or use Temple’s Writing Lab or use ProWritingAid (At minimum, use the summary feature, then the grammar and style features.) Or, choose your own writing tool. More information and rubric is in the file.
