Anthropology Primate Fact Sheet Discussion

Look through the 2018-2020 Primates in Peril report and pick a species that you’d like to learn more about. The report is organized by continent and each section opens with a map of the species in the report who are found on that continent. You can access the Primates in Peril 2018-2020

Create a “Primate Fact Sheet” to help spread awareness about this endangered species. In your fact sheet, be sure to include:

1. A picture of the species (include an image citation)
2. The species common name and scientific name
3. Their geographic range and estimated population size
4. Some key details about their behavioral ecology (habitat type, diet, social organization)
5. A description of the primate threats to their survival
