I think zombies and the dead are explainable. From the lecture, zombies/the dead can be seen as those who may not be mentally conscious or those without a will of their own but physically can still move. In that sense, I think it can be explained that zombies can exist and we may see some around us. It is harder to believe that a zombie is someone who died and is buried but somehow rises back up to life, unless the person was mistakenly buried alive and people relized the error before they suffocated. It would be hard to prove resurrection to a stranger and they would probably just think you’re crazy. People normally say they don’t believe things unless they see it with their own eyes and when they do witness it themselves, they’d say they were just imagining it. Explaining zombies and the dead would have to be somewhat alined to what people already know and believe, or be convincing enough for them to change their views.
