Assignment Requirements
Length – minimum of 500 words (does not include titles/headings or words from the references)
Point value – 10 points
1.5 or 2.0 line spacing; 1-inch margins; 11 or 12 pt. font (Calibri or Times New Roman preferred)
VERY IMPORTANT: papers must be submitted in Word format.
This will allow the instructors to view and make comments on your writing assignments (most other formats are not visible to the instructor when assignments are submitted in Compass).
Assignment Description You have the opportunity to an extra credit paper, with a minimum length of 500 words each (not including titles, headings or words from the references), on an animal-related topic of your choice.
Please note the following important considerations:
1. The topic is completely up to you; any animal-related topic is acceptable. However, the topic must be different from or must significantly expand on information you covered in the assigned papers.
2. The paper must be an original composition (not a paper you have previously submitted in another class).
3. As with other assignments, references must be properly cited and formatted.
Paper Components
Initial information: Title and your name
Brief introductory paragraph: containing a thesis statement
Main body: animal related content
Concluding paragraph: summarizing your main points
References: Properly formatted in-text citations and references
