Essay
Before beginning to write, remember to
1. Prove the thesis from the text—no outside sources. A Works Cited page is required.
2. Make textnotes or parenthetical citations for all quotations, summaries or paraphrases to avoid plagiarism. Remember when a writer makes a parenthetical citation in a paragraph, the author’s last name and page number is needed. If the author’s name is stated in the sentence, the textnote needs only the page number.
3. In Blackboard, navigate to Week 1 folder and review Essay Example with Teaching Notes.
4.Use Grammarly.com before summiting in the assignment box.
