Deliverable 1: Summary
Choose a technological item to learn more about such as the iPhone, personal computer, Facebook, or any other technological item or software you use. Learn as much as you can about this item or software and write a 2- to 3-page summary (500 to 825 words) to explain its creation, history, and which company or companies currently own(s) this technology. Cite at least four sources using APA format. Submit the summary by the end of Module 6.
Guidelines for the Summary (with sources in APA format)
The summary should be well developed, convey your understanding of the readings and concepts, and establish a purpose. Content development demonstrates mastery of the subject, is organized, coherent, unified, and free of spelling and grammatical errors. As much as possible, avoid using our textbooks as “research,” except when absolutely necessary for background information. Be sure to document all contentions and facts in an academically acceptable manner. (See Writing Resources below.) Encyclopedias—especially Wikipedia—and dictionaries are unacceptable sources.
