Student Interest and Differentiation( This’s a discussion question)
–Student interest is often captured in a learning profile.
-Use the questions to guide your original response
– Do you think engaging a student based on his or her interest, as identified by a learning profile, would be beneficial in differentiated instruction? Why or why not?
PART 1: DIFFERENTIATED LESSON PLAN
Using what you have already created in your Modules 1-4 assignments, assemble all the created components into one differentiated lesson plan using an orderly approach. Omit items unnecessary for the lesson plan, and add elements as needed. Focus on all 3 types of learners (advanced, average, and struggling) but only create one comprehensive lesson plan.
PART 2: FINAL REFLECTION
Compose a 2- to 3-page final reflection (not including the title and references pages) in APA format.
Use these questions to guide your final reflection:
- When reviewing the reflections from the previous modules, how has your thinking changed in relation to differentiated instruction?
- What impact will well-designed differentiated instruction have on your future instructional practices?
