Introduction:
In the present scenario it becomes very important for police officers to keep proof against
whatever case they are investigating. Audio visual aids are the best way to gather proof while
investigating and also providing for the safety
of the general public. For this purpose, body
cameras are used and fitted in uniforms or caps of police officers and used to record every
communication held between general public and police.
The body cameras are responsible in a way to control the behavio
r of police officers and stop
them from exploiting general public in either way. But in the recent years cases of public assault
and mistreatment by police officials have been reported despite of the cameras. Hence it
becomes very important to understand t
he importance of the body cameras in controlling the
behavior of police officials while on duty.

Identification:
The major issues with the body cameras is that most of the officers do not use the cameras hence
continue with the same behavior with t
he general public. But, on the other hand some use body
cameras and hence behave decently with the public, thus reducing their complaints against police
officials.
