You must address the following items in the body of your evaluation:
1. Was the attention getter effective? Why or why not?
2. What was the proposition statement?
3. Comment on an argument that the speaker developed. Identify the support (CENTS) used in supporting the argument. How was research incorporated? Provide examples from the speech to support your evaluation.
4. How did the speaker address the opposition? Did they successfully refute the opposing argument?
5. Did the speaker incorporate ETHOS, LOGOS, and PATHOS successfully? How did these appeals persuade the audience?
6. Comment on the speaker’s delivery (eye contact, gestures, movement, use of space, facial expressions, tone of voice, and energy and enthusiasm), sensory aids, and overall preparedness.
