• Summarize the author’s message by paraphrasing and quoting, when appropriate
• Use MLA style in-text citations for direct quotes only (this is acceptable because of the entire paragraph is a summary of one source, which should be stated in the first sentence)
• Include an MLA style Works Cited entry for the source
