The goal of this assignment is to review some of the key concepts and information we have
covered in Chapters 1 – 4 and applying this information. Choose one of the questions below
and write a 1 page (approx, typed, doubled-spaced) response. Since it is assumed you are
using the textbook/lecture notes as a reference, there is no need for citations or a reference
page. However, make sure you do not copy the information – put it in your own words!
the question is:
“Taking the position of 1 of the theories discussed in Chpt. 1, How could
interventions designed to prevent or reduce adolescents’ problem behavior be
developed to take advantage of what we know about adolescent development?
You answer should demonstrate you understand the chosen theory by explaining
the key ideas in the theory. The interventions you propose should be consistent
with the theory your choose.”
