you need to do a sharefile so i can send you the excel file
1. create a histogram chart of loan amounts
- 2. Add a descriptive title to the chart, such as “Approved Loans from 2007 to 2012”
- 3. Set the bins equal to half the standard deviation of the population by formatting the horizontal axis.
- 4. Add data labels on the bins so the count in each bin is displayed, and to make your verbal analysis easier.
- 5. Create an underflow bin using an amount so that the population mean falls on the boundary of two of your bins. This will allow you to visually see the Z-score in increments of 0.5. (Z-scores are discussed on page 100 of your text).
- Verbally describe the loan amount data, including at least the count, mean, median, mode, minimum, maximum, and range. Use plain English wherever possible. If you use a statistical term like “mode,” then you should also explain what that means. Because the CRO is interested in people borrowing the highest amounts, tell her how many loans have a Z-score higher than 2. Describe to her what kind of data LendingClub has available for creating borrower profiles.
