My name is Gregg Goebel, and I live in Nebraska. I am the Director of Emergency Management. I also work PRN “as needed” as a medic. My immediate goal is to make it through this course. I have been out of school for 30+ years and have never taken Algebra. My education goal supports my second goal of retiring from active emergency services and going into the private sector as a consultant/Emergency Preparedness Coordinator /Planner.
The videos and the skill builder are encouraging tools that I believe will be beneficial in this course. As a visual learner seeing and hearing an explanation supports the lesson, and the Skill builder will strengthen the skills through practice.
