This assignment consist of you presenting an online presentation. You can use power point for this assignment. You will have already picked your president (if you have not please don’t worry please contact me.) You can use power point or Google Slides.
Your job is to pick a policy (not a group of policies, e.g. if you pick FDR you can’t use “The New Deal” or if you choose LBJ you can’t use “The Great Society” but if you do choose either one you can choice social security which is a policy of the New Deal or the Civil Rights Act of 1964.)
The policy doesn’t have be a policy that was successful (e.g. Reagan’s “Star Wars” which was properly called Strategic Defense Initiative which never came to fruition.)
This is not a history assignment so I don’t care about when they were born or how many kids they had. Your first slide should be the name of the President, the policy and your name and the last slide should have your references. 5 to 15 slides that is including the first slide so please no more than 15.
This assignment is informative so it is your job to inform. I don’t assign what needs to be a part of your presentation, this is college so this is up to you. All you honestly have to do is tell us what the policy is.
