- Scene 10, page 159 There is a series of set instructions that describe a street struggle that is rather sordid and really is the first time such a vision has been described in the play. What is the function of this struggle? In responding you might consider Blanche’s state of mind at this point in the play as well as the parallel action in the apartment.
