The intent of this project is for you to conduct a thorough literature review of a typical design and construction of any of the above two options of trusses.
Task Requirements
Literature Review
Do a thorough literature review of the trusses of your choosing from the above options. Describe the history, features, applications, and limitations if any. Compare them.
Design and Construction
Discuss design and construction of the trusses, found in the literature using the six-step design process listed below:
- Define the problem to be solved.
- Acquire and assemble pertinent data.
- Identify solution constraints and criteria.
- Develop alternative solutions.
- Select a solution based on analysis of alternatives.
Deliverables:
- A report in word format. Remember to cite all references used in the document (10 -20 pages).
The report must be typewritten and should contain a title/cover page. This page must contain the following information.
