  This assignment provides you the opportunity to examine the different types of courts in the United States. There are different types of problem-solving courts in this country. A few examples include the following: 

domestic violence courts, 

drug courts, and  

mental health courts. 

Research the following questions, and write a report that addresses the following questions: 

1. What type of problem-solving courts exist? 

2. Where and when did these courts originate? How many of each type of court are there in the U.S. today? 

3. Discuss the effectiveness of problem-solving courts. 

4. How might policy changes be used to improve problem-solving courts? 5. What does the future hold for problem-solving courts? 

Locate research in the Waldorf Online Library to support the assertions in your response. Write a minimum three pages full in length-page  analysis based on the above questions. Use APA style to format your response. Proofread your work before submitting it.
