So, having completed the readings for this week, do you think enforcement of alcohol abuse, at least when it comes to driving, is reliable? Are breathalyzers accurate, by and large? And what if they’re not? Could a similar system be reliably developed for marijuana? And where are we headed with all of this? If the standard is PROTECT EVERYONE (especially kids) AT ALL COSTS, then are we headed to zero tolernace? And should this concern us? Again, a question that will continually come up: how much power do we want the state (and by extention our fellow citizens and their phone cameras) to have over us…?
