Paragraph 1: Of the many objections that Turing considers (in Section 6 of his article), which do you think is the strongest objection to Turing’s position? Explain what the objection is.

Paragraph 2: explain why you think it is the strongest one.

Paragraph 3: Is Turing’s response to your chosen objection adequate? Why or why not?

Paragraph 1:Explain Searle’s argument: that is, explain how Searle reasons his way from the thought experiment to the conclusion you explained in Question 2.

Paragraph 2: What is the most powerful objection to Searle’s argument you can think of?

Paragraph 3: Can (or does) Searle provide an adequate response to your chosen objection? Explain your answer. [Also, the objection to Searle can be one he discusses in the article, the ones discussed in lecture, or one that you create yourself.]
