Purpose: My purpose is to inform my classmates of the dangers and potential consequences of drinking and driving.
Thesis: Drinking and driving is something that is very dangerous, but unfortunately, all too common. This speech is intended to bring drunk driving to life and make it real and personal with the hopes that people will take it seriously and use it for future reference when they make a choice about whether to get behind the wheel after they’ve been drinking.
