Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words total (200-300 words primary task; plus 2 responses of 100 words each) that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear; use examples to reinforce your ideas.
Think of one of your favorite movies (past or present). Respond to the following questions in 200–300 words:
- Why was this movie one of your favorites?
- What about this movie inspired, educated, or motivated you?
Responses to Other Students: Respond to at least 2 of your fellow classmates with a 100-word reply about their Primary Task Response regarding items you found to be compelling and enlightening. To help you with your discussion, please consider the following questions:
- Find a classmate who identified a movie that you saw as well. Did you agree with his or her responses to the questions?
- Find a classmate who selected a movie that you did not see. Did his or her description inspire you to watch the movie? Why or why not?
- What did you learn from your classmate’s posting?
- What additional questions do you have after reading the posting?
- What clarification do you need regarding the posting?
- What differences or similarities do you see between your posting and other classmates’ postings?
